The SAINT ANDREW LUTHERAN CHURCH ENDOWMENT FUND provides a means for receiving and managing income-producing gifts and for distributing said income in accordance with the Bylaws of the Endowment Fund.

The income generated from gifts received by the Endowment Fund is used for outreach into the community, synod, and churchwide, including, but not limited to, grants to the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America for new congregational development, professional leadership, educational ministries, global mission, ecumenism, evangelism, social ministries, Evangelical Lutheran Church in America seminaries, colleges, universities, or students attending such schools, social service agencies, institutions and agencies to which this congregation relates, and to special programs designed for those persons in our parish area who are in spiritual and/or economic need.

The purpose of this Fund is to enhance the mission outreach of Saint Andrew Lutheran Church apart from the general operation of the congregation. No portion of the income generated by the Fund shall be used for the annual operating budget of the congregation.  All gifts received by the Fund shall be designated solely for outreach purposes.

Gifts to the Endowment Fund are used, but never used up.  That is why we say,

“A gift to the Endowment Fund is a gift that keeps on giving.”
