First in the Rocky Mountain District of Kiwanis.
Now
there are four other Aktion Clubs in the Rocky
Mountain District:
Grand Junction Aktion
Club in Grand Junction, Colorado
Magic City
Aktion Club in Cheyenne, Wyoming
Panhandle
Partners Aktion Club in Scottsbluff, Nebraska
Northern
Colorado Aktion Club in Ft. Collins, Colorado
The
first Aktion Club was organized in Putnam County, Florida,
in 1987
by Jake Swartout, who was 1988-89 Governor of the
Florida District.
Aktion Club became an official sponsored program of
Kiwanis International in 2000.
